January 24, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears have traveled to the Gulf Coast and are set to face off in their first of three games in three against the Mississippi Sea Wolves who are rebranding tonight only, as the Mississippi Mullet. This is the first time the two teams are meeting this season and the only scheduled meetings this season. The Sea Wolves will not make a trip to Binghamton this season. This is also the first scheduled games for the Black Bears against any teams in the Continental Division. Historically the Black Bears are 3-2 in five games played against the Sea Wolves over the last two seasons and going 2-0 against the Sea Wolves last season and outscoring the team from Biloxi 19-1 in the two games played in Binghamton in front of the home fans. Most notable roster notes for the Black Bears, Donald Olivieri made the trip to Biloxi for the games and Camron Cervone will not be with the team as he has been called up to the SPHL for this weekend's games. Dale Deon is still with the team and will be playing on the blue-line for the Black Bears.
