January 18, 2025 - by Bob Howard - BinghamtonHockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the Watertown Wolves will face-off tonight in Binghamton in the 6th game of the season between the #1 team and the #2 teams in the Empire Division. Last night the two teams met in Binghamton with the Black Bears getting the 6-3 win over the Wolves in front of 4,597 fans at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. In the game, Donald Olivieri scored two power play goals for the Black Bears. Also scoring in the game was Austin Thompson, CJ Stubbs, Zac Sirota and Kyle Stephan. The Wolves received goals from Trevor Neumann, Steven Klinck and Davide Gaeta. Connor McAnanama saved 25 of 28 shots on goal earning his 25th win of the season. Tonight I expect we will see Nolan Egbert between the pipes as the Black Bears are playing 3 games in 3 nights. If the Egg-man goes, he will boasts a 9-2-0 record this season and a 3.46 GAA and a .886 save percentage. The Wolves played Eloi Bouchard last evening and he had to contend with 49 Black Bears shots, which leads me to believe the Wolves may go with Anton Borodkin in net tonight on First Responders Night in Binghamton.
