January 5, 2025 - by Bob Howard - Binghamton Hockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears and the Port Huron Prowlers will meet for one more game this regular season, tonight's game in Port Huron, Michigan for the second straight night. The Black Bears are 4-1-0 through the 5 games they have played. Last night's game saw a 7-3 win for the Black Bears with Dakota Bohn scoring 2 power play goals and assisting on 2 other tallies. Tyson Kirkby scored his 100th career Black Bears goal in the win. Austin Thompson also scored 2 goals and assisted on two other for the Black Bears. Chris Mott and Cj Stubbs also scored for the Black Bears last night. The Black Bears bench will likely be shorter tonight as Dan Wieber was injured during a borderline dirty play by Tucker Scantlebury in the 2nd period. The Prowlers saw goals last night from Brett Lockhart, Reggie Millette and Head Coach Matt Graham. The Black Bears are 21-3-1 for 60 points and 1st place in the Empire Division, while the Prowlers are 11-12-3 for 32 points and 4th in the division. The question will be for tonight's regular season finale is how will this game go? Uneventful or explosive?
