January 3, 2025 - by Bob Howard - Binghamton Hockey.net The Binghamton Black Bears have traveled to Michigan to play two games vs. the Port Huron Prowlers. This is the first two games of the six game regular season series against the Prowlers to be played in Port Huron, Michigan. The Black Bears are 3-1-0 vs. the Prowlers this season, all of those games played in front of the friendly fans at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena. The Black Bears defeated the Prowlers on December 7th, 5-2 in the last game the two games the two team played. In the Teddy Bear Toss Game, Cameron Clark scored the first goal, and also had a hat-trick in the game. Kyle Stephan and Donald Olivieri also scored in the game. However the Black Bears are going to play a man down the whole weekend. Not traveling with the team was Donald Olivieri, Cameron Clark and Josh Fletcher. The Don Father was put on the 15 Day IR and will not play next weekend in Fraser, Michigan against the Rockers. Clark and Fletch are expected to travel with the team next weekend when they play the Rockers. The Black Bears were the first team to 20 wins and are 20-3-1 and have 57 points, they are 1st in the Empire Division. The Prowlers are 10-11-1 and have 32 points, they are 3rd in the Empire Division.
