               <font size="2" face="Courier New">August 11, 2004</font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New"><font color="#FF0000">Posted by: <a href="mailto:bob@binghamtonhockey.net">Bob Howard</a><br> Credit: </font><a href=http://www.binghamtonsenators.com>Binghamton Senators</a>  </font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New">OTTAWA SENATORS SIGN DEFENSEMAN JESSE FIBIGER <BR> <BR> OTTAWA – Ottawa Senators general manager John Muckler announced today that defenseman Jesse Fibiger has been signed to a one-year deal with the club. <BR> <BR> Fibiger, 26, appeared in 55 games for the Cleveland Barons of the American Hockey League (AHL), San Jose's top affiliate club, during the 2003-04 season, recording 17 points (5-12) and 39 penalty minutes. He also represented Canada at the Skoda Cup in Switzerland during February, recording one assist in four games. <BR> <BR> He has spent the last three seasons in the San Jose organization after being signed as a free agent before the 2001 season. In three seasons with Cleveland, Fibiger has appeared in 193 games, recording 14 goals, 35 assists and 194 penalty minutes. <BR> <BR> The native of Victoria, B.C., also appeared in 16 NHL games for San Jose during the 2002-03 season, recording two penalty minutes. <BR> <BR> Fibiger was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1998. <BR> <BR> JESSE FIBIGER, Defence, Shoots left, 6'3&quot;, 210 lbs. <BR> Born: April 4, 1978 (Victoria, B.C.) <BR> Draft: 1998 - Anaheim's seventh-round draft pick (178th overall)</font></b>
