BINGHAMTON SENATORS ANNOUNCE 2004-05 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE

HOME SCHEDULE INCLUDES 29 FRIDAY & SATURDAY GAMES

BINGHAMTON, NY - The American Hockey League released today the complete 2004-05 regular season schedule. The B-Sens will open the season on the road at Albany on October 15 before returning to Binghamton the next night for a 7:05 p.m. home opener against Syracuse at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

Weekend games fill the majority of the B-Sens’ schedule this year with 29 of the 40 home contests set for a Friday or Saturday.

“This schedule is great for the fans and that is what we strive for when crafting a schedule,” says Tom Mitchell, executive vice president of operations. “There will be many exciting Friday and Saturday hockey nights in Binghamton this upcoming season.”

Traditional hockey nights in Binghamton, such as Thanksgiving Day, the day after Christmas and New Year’s Eve are included once again in the 2004-05 schedule. The B-Sens will face Bridgeport at 6:05 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Albany at 5:05 p.m. the day after Christmas and Springfield at 6:05 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Three of the B-Sens’ eight weekday games will be played on days prior to an off day for the local schools. These dates are November 10, December 22, and February 17.
