               <font size="2" face="Courier New">August 6, 2004</font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New"><font color="#FF0000">Posted by: <a href="mailto:bob@binghamtonhockey.net">Bob Howard</a><br> Credit: </font><a href=http://www.pressconnects.com>Press Connects.com</a>  </font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New">B-Sens to participate in preseason tourney <BR> <BR> From staff reports <BR> <BR> The Binghamton Senators have enhanced their exhibition schedule by joining the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Syracuse Crunch for the inaugural I-81 Puck Cup, a round-robin event to played in early October. <BR> <BR> 1-81 Puck Cup <BR> <BR> * Oct. 1: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at Syracuse, 7:30 p.m. <BR> <BR> * Oct. 2: Syracuse at Binghamton, 7:05 p.m. <BR> <BR> * Oct. 6: Binghamton at Syracuse, 11 a.m. <BR> <BR> * Oct. 7: Syracuse at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, 7:05 p.m. <BR> <BR> * Oct. 8: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at Binghamton, 7:05 p.m. <BR> <BR> * Oct. 9: Binghamton at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, 7:05 p.m. <BR> <BR> <BR> The preseason tournament will involve six games, each team playing home and away against the other two. The Puck Cup trophy will be presented to the team with the most points upon conclusion of the tournament. <BR> <BR> &quot;The tournament will spice up our preseason and give our fans something to cheer about at these games,&quot; said Tom Mitchell, Senators executive vice president of operations. &quot;We have been looking to do something unique in the preseason and this promises to be fun and is something we hope to make into an annual event.&quot; <BR> <BR> The home games for Binghamton are Oct. 2 against Syracuse and Oct. 8 against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Both games begin at 7:05 p.m. <BR> <BR> Tickets for the round-robin games to be played in Binghamton will go on sale at 10 this morning at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office. The tickets will go on sale at all other Ticketmaster outlets at 9 this morning, and can be purchased at the Senators' executive office on the third floor of the Arena. <BR> <BR> Tickets to each game -- general admission -- will cost $9.50. Those purchasing tickets for both games in Binghamton will receive $1 off of the regular price of each ticket. <BR> <BR> In addition to the I-81 Puck Cup, Binghamton will visit the Hershey Bears at 5 p.m. Oct. 3. <BR> <BR> Season tickets are on sale at the Senators' executive office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information: 722-SENS.</font></b>
