B-Sens 2004-05 home opener set for October 16

June 10, 2004 - BINGHAMTON, NY – The Binghamton Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, announced today the team will play its home opener on Saturday, October 16 at 7:05 p.m. at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena against an opponent to be determined.

Four other guaranteed dates were assigned to the Senators by the AHL, including the traditional Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve contests. The Senators guaranteed dates appear below:

Saturday, October 16 7:05 p.m.
Saturday, November 13 7:05 p.m.
Thursday, November 25 6:05 p.m. (Thanksgiving)
Saturday, November 27 7:05 p.m.
Friday, December 31 6:05 p.m. (New Year’s Eve)

Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Eve contests have long been a staple on the schedule during the AHL’s stay in Binghamton and the Senators will celebrate both holiday dates with special 6:05 p.m. faceoffs both nights. Opponents for the above dates, along with the entire AHL schedule, will be announced later in the summer.

Season tickets for the 2004-05 campaign are now on sale at the Sens’ Executive Office – 3rd Floor of the Arena. To purchase 2004-05 season tickets, the Sens’ office is open during the summer months from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and can be reached by calling 722-SENS (7367).
