If your confused about the Senators playoff picture, don't be embarrassed, many people were even after last night's loss to the Norfolk Admirals. Below are the two scenarios that will explain the Senators playoff hopes.

---The Senators can clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight vs. Rochester or a tie or loss tonight with the Americans and a Hershey loss tonight vs. Norfolk or Sunday vs. Philadelphia.

---The Senators can clinch 4th place and home field advantage in the 1st round of the playoffs with a win tonight and a Norfolk loss or tie or a tie tonight and a Norfolk loss.
