Memorabilia Up For Grabs At The Arena Saturday

Saturday, when the Sens take on the Philadelphia Phantoms in a 7:05 faceoff at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena, fans will have two great opportunities to own hockey memorabilia with items from the Binghamton Senators and the hockey world at large.

Senator wives and girlfriends are sponsoring a puck sale to benefit the Serge Payer Foundation. Binghamton Senator pucks autographed by each member of the team will be available for $10.00 each with a limited number of each player available.

All proceeds will benefit the Serge Payer Foundation, which raises funds dedicated to research and treatment of Guillain-Barre Syndrome, a disease that destroys the nerve linings in the human body. Payer has overcome the disease and has dedicated countless hours of fundraising to assist others that suffer from the disease.

Also on Saturday night, the Broome Sports Foundation will wrap up its silent auction of hockey memorabilia. Some items in the auction include a Rob Ray autographed jersey, a signed stick from Stanley Cup champion goaltender Martin Brodeur, and many other items.

There will also be a special “Kids Only” raffle for the young Senator fans.

The silent auction will accept bids until the conclusion of Saturday night’s game against the Phantoms at the Arena. All proceeds will benefit the Broome Sports Foundation Scholarship Fund.
