               <font size="2" face="Courier New">February 29, 2004</font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New"><font color="#FF0000">Posted by: <a href="mailto:bob@binghamtonhockey.net">Bob Howard</a><br> Credit: </font><a href=http://www.binghamtonsenators.com>Binghamton Senators.com</a>  </font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New">Sens Drop Sixth Straight 4-2 <BR> <BR> The Hershey Bears built a 4-0 lead through two periods and fended off a third period rally by Binghamton to top the Senators 4-2 at Giant Center Sunday. <BR> <BR> The loss extended the Sens’ record losing streak to six games and the club’s road winless streak to nine games (0-7-2). <BR> <BR> Brett Clark made the Sens pay on the power play when Charlie Stephens took a tripping call at 11:27 of the opening period. <BR> <BR> Clark sent a screened shot past Ray Emery (23 saves in 40 minutes) for his ninth of the year at 12:39 to give the Bears a 1-0 lead after one period. <BR> <BR> Hershey got another man-up chance early in the second period and made it 2-0 following a Peter Smrek boarding call. <BR> <BR> Pascal Trepanier cleaned up on a rebound to the left of Emery to double their lead just 1:41 into the middle period with Eric Perrin and Steve Brule drawing their second assists of the game. <BR> <BR> Ryan Craig netted a pair of goals before the expiration of the second period to put the game out of reach after forty minutes. <BR> <BR> Charlie Stephens ruined Tom Lawson’s shutout bid with his 13th of the year, a shot that beat Lawson (26 saves) between the pads at 5:44 of the third period. <BR> <BR> The Sens’ rally would fall short despite Steve Bancroft’s power play marker with 2:21 left in the game to draw Binghamton within two. <BR> <BR> Binghamton continues its six-game road trip Wednesday night as they visit Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in a battle of teams sharing fifth place in the East Division with 60 points each. <BR> <BR> Face off at Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza is set for 7:05 p.m.</font></b>
