               <font size="2" face="Courier New">February 21, 2004</font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New"><font color="#FF0000">Posted by: <a href="mailto:bob@binghamtonhockey.net">Bob Howard</a><br> Credit: </font><a href=http://www.binghamtonsenators.com>Binghamton Senators.com</a>  </font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New">B-Sens Hold Off Bruins 2-1 <BR> <BR> February 20, 2004 <BR> <BR> Rob Ray's power play goal late in the second period stood up as the game-winner as the Binghamton Senators fended off the Providence Bruins 2-1 Saturday night at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. <BR> <BR> The Sens' 26th victory of the season was witnessed by the 14th sellout of the year with 4,717 fans taking in the victory. <BR> <BR> With Binghamton holding a 1-0 lead courtesy of Arpad Mihaly's 5th goal of the season at 15:24 of the opening period, the Sens went on the power play laste in the middle period as Andre Savage highsticked the Sens' Mike Brown. <BR> <BR> It took just 21 seconds to make the Bruins pay when Andy Hedlund's left wing blast was tipped by Ray and past Providence netminder Hannu Toivonen (20 saves) to make it 2-0 at the 16:16 mark. <BR> <BR> The Bruins cut the lead in half on a Savage marker with 3:30 left in the game, but would not get the equalizer before time expired. <BR> <BR> Savage's goal was the only shot to elude Ray Emery, who stopped 32 shots on the night. <BR> <BR> Binghamton travels to Springfield to take on the Falcons Sunday in a 4:05 faceoff.</font></b>
