Langfeld Back With B-Sens

The Ottawa Senators today returned forward Josh Langfeld to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Langfeld, who was recalled on an emergency basis on Jan. 9 to replace Antoine Vermette, has appeared in 12 games with Ottawa this season. He has recorded five points (4-1), two penalty minutes and a +3 rating while averaging 8:32 of ice-time.

Langfeld, 26, has 26 points (12-14), 23 penalty minutes and a +11 +/- rating in 29 games with Binghamton this season. He is currently tied for second in goals, third in assists and third in points with Binghamton.

The Binghamton Senators currently sit fifth in the East division with a 19-19-4-2 record. Their next game is Wednesday (Jan. 28) when they travel to Rochester.
