               <font size="2" face="Courier New">April 27, 2005</font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New"><font color="#FF0000">Posted by: <a href="mailto:bob@binghamtonhockey.net">Bob Howard</a><br> Credit: </font><a href=http://www.binghamtonsenators.com>Binghamton Senators.com</a>  </font></b><p align="center"><b><font size="2" face="Courier New">SENS DROP 3-OT GAME IN WILKES-BARRE 3-2 <BR> <BR> The Binghamton Senators dropped their first contest of this post season on Monday night with a 3-2 loss to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in front of 6,159 fans at the Wachovia Arena. The game, the longest in Binghamton AHL history, took more than 112:26 to decide. <BR> <BR> Colby Armstong put home the game winner 12:26 into the third overtime period as the Penguins climbed back into the East Division Semifinal series 2-1. <BR> <BR> Christoph Schubert scored twice for the Sens in regulation but that was not enough to give the Sens the victory. <BR> <BR> Schubert opened the scoring with a power-play tally 9:04 into the game to give the Sens a 1-0 lead. <BR> <BR> Wilkes-Barre tied the game 1-1 and then took a 2-1 lead thanks to goals by Shane Endicott and Kris Beech. Both goals came with a Senator in the penalty box. <BR> <BR> Schubert picked up his second goal of the evening at the 15:11 mark of the second period. Goaltender Ray Emery recorded his first assist of the post season on the play. <BR> <BR> Both goaltender were sharp in net tonight with Emery turning away 46 of the Penguins 49 shots and Andy Chiodo stopped 42 of 44 shots while earning the victory for his club. <BR> <BR> Binghamton was 1 for 8 on the power play while the Penguins were 2 for 7. <BR> <BR> The two clubs meet here again on Wednesday night for game 4 of this division semifinal series. The game is scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. face off. The action begins at 6:35 p.m. on 680-AM WINR with Grady Whittenburg.</font></b>
