Not bad for a franchise in its third season.

While Cameron is in his rookie AHL season, and first with the Senators, he is not a neophyte when it comes to post-season action and how to use his playoff experience to his benefit.

In conversation with Cameron this week, the Senators coach provides his thoughts on his team’s first-round action:

Part-1: Playoff focus - “You can’t take anything for granted. A game and series can change on one play.”

Part-2: Wilkes-Barre Scranton - “On the way to the finals last year, twice they down 3-1 and came back to win.”

Part-3: Wilkes-Barre Scranton playoff experience - “Because of their success in the playoffs last year, they know that the slate is going to be wiped clean when they start against us.“

Part-4: The Penguins on offence - “They’re a very structured team. We want to cut down their time and space.”

Part-5: Underestimating their opponents - “What we have to remember is that 20 games ago, we were closer to fifth (place) than we were first.”
