Each Clear Day roster consists of a maximum of 22 players.

According to AHL by-laws, only those players listed on a team’s Clear Day roster are eligible to compete in the remaining four weeks of the 2004-05 AHL regular season and in the 2005 Calder Cup Playoffs, unless emergency conditions arise as a result of recall, injury or suspension. Teams may also add signed junior players or players on amateur tryout contracts, only after their respective junior or college seasons are complete.

The complete list of Clear Day rosters can be found below.

Sixteen of the AHL’s 28 teams qualify for the postseason, the top four from each division. For complete qualification rules and up-to-date standings, as well as for Calder Cup history, records and all-time championship rosters, visit caldercup.com.

The AHL’s championship trophy is named after Hockey Hall of Famer Frank Calder, who served as the first president of the National Hockey League from 1917-43. During the 1920s, Calder was instrumental in guiding professional hockey into the mainstream of the United States’ major cities, including New York, Boston, Chicago and Detroit, while also helping in the formation of the American Hockey League.

Twenty-six members of the Hockey Hall of Fame are among the more than 1,200 different players, coaches and managers who have won the Calder Cup, including Terry Sawchuk, Emile Francis, Gerry Cheevers, Larry Robinson, Frank Mathers, Bill Barber, Tim Horton and Johnny Bower.

Binghamton's Clear Day Roster:

Ray Emery (G)
Billy Thompson (G)
Brandon Bochenski
Danny Bois
Jesse Fibiger
Denis Hamel
Andy Hedlund
Pat Kavanagh
Chris Kelly
Neil Komadoski
Josh Langfeld
Brian McGrattan
Chris Neil
Jan Platil
Brian Pothier
Grant Potulny
Christoph Schubert
Jason Spezza
Charlie Stephens
Antoine Vermette
Anton Volchenkov
Greg Watson

Arpad Mihaly (in residence)
