MINI RECAP
The Binghamton Black Bears (43-5-1) defeated the Watertown Wolves (25-19-3) in Watertown off the back of Cam Clark who scored 2 goals in the game. The Black Bears score first and early with a Zac Sirota strike at the 1:48 mark as Sirota was filling in for Austin Thompson was out with an illness. With Jesse Anderson in the penalty box for hooking, the Wolves get a power play goal and tie the game up at 1 off a tip in goal from Trevor Grasby. Chris Mott regained the lead for the Black Bears also tipping the puck in past the Wolves Breandan Colgan at the 5:30 mark of the 1st period making this a 2-1 game. Then just 2 minutes 12 seconds later at the 7:42 mark the Black Bears scored their 3rd goal off the stick of Cameron Clark. After a Wolves turn over near their own zone, CJ Stubbs came in a lone and was able to get the Black Bears 4th goal with a 2:44 left to go in the 1st period. Nicholas Swain wanted to get in on the fun and scored the Black Bears 5th goal of the period, scoring at the 18:15 mark of the 1st period. There was no scoring in the 2nd period between the two teams leaving the Black Bears with a 4 goal lead with the score still at 5-1. The Black Bears score the first goal of the game since the 1st period as Cameron Clark scores his 2nd tally at the 13:59 mark of the 3rd period making this a 6-1 game.
