| The Binghamton Black Bears (38-4-1) defeated the Dashers Hockey Club (1-36-3) in front of a sell-out crowd on Saturday night by the score of 7-1. Just 1:40 into the first period CJ Stubbs scored to get the Black Bears on the score-sheet first with his 18th goal of the season. Just 20 seconds the Black Bears score their second goal of the game with Josh Fletcher’s 6th goal of the season making this a 2-0 quick lead. With Sean Doyle in the box for tripping the Black Bears scored their third goal, on the power play off the stick of Scott Ramaekers who scored his 12th goal of the season making this a 3-0 game just 8:53 into the 1st period. The Black Bears took a little longer in the period to score their 4th goal but it was worth the wait as Tyson Kirkby scored his 32nd goal of the season and his franchise lead 110th goal surpassing Nikita Ivashkin for the lead. The Dashers get their first goal of the weekend after a bunch of penalties at the 17:22 mark of the period as Quinn O'Reilly scored a goal 9 seconds after the penalty mess. Dakota Bohn keeps scoring and tonight scored the Black Bears second power play goal with the Dashers Jhuwon Davis in the box for hooking making this a 5-1 game. The Black Bears make this a 6-1 game with Scott Ramaekers second goal of the game at the 9:07 mark of the 3rd period. Jesse Anderson scored the Black Bears 7th goal of the game and 16th of the weekend with 2:38 to go in the game, giving the Black Bears a comfortable 6 goal lead. The Black Bears win their 17th game in a row and improve their record to 38-4-1 with a league lead 110 points. |
