MINI RECAP
The Binghamton Black Bears (25-4-1) defeated the Watertown Wolves (16-11-1) by the score of 4-2 in front of a sell out and scoring all four of thier goals in the 3rd period. The first period was scoreless for both teams with the Black Bears getting the better chances in the first 20 minutes and the advantage in shots. With Gavin Yates in the sin bin for interference the Wolves took advantage and scored the games first goal off the stick of Trevor Neumann at the 7:24 mark giving the visiting Wolves a 1-0 lead. The Black Bears score a short-handed goal off the stick of CJ Stubbs to tie the game while Scott Ramaekers was in the penalty box for holding, tying the game up at 1 goal a piece at the 8:34 mark of the 3rd period. The Black Bears then take the lead with another Stubbs goal with 4:06 left to got in the 3rd period, his 2nd goal of the game. Carter Thornton brought the Wolves back into the game with the Wolves second tally with 2:43 left to go in the period. The Black Bears took the lead again off the stick of Josh Fletcher who scored his first of the season at the 18:47 mark of the 3rd. Cameron Clark scored the insurance goal just 15 seconds after the Fletcher tally sealing the 4-2 victory for the Black Bears, their 25th win of the season.
