| The Binghamton Black Bears (37-4-1) defeated the Dashers Hockey Club (1-35-3) in a blow out at the Arena on Friday night by the score of 9-0. Scoring the games first goal, Austin Thompson scored his 28th goal of the season giving the Black Bears a 1-0 lead 10:45 into the first period. Josh Fletcher scored the Black Bears second goal of the game with just 5:22 left to go in the period giving the home team a 2-0 lead. With Jhuwon Davis in the box for hooking the second power play unit and CJ Stubbs gives the Black Bears a 3-0 lead. With Dale Deon in the box for tripping, the Black Bears scored their 14th short-handed goal of the season off the stick of Tyson Kirkby with 3:58 left to go in the middle period. With Bowie Slarks in the penalty box for a too many men penalty assessed to the Dashers, Jesse Anderson scored the Black Bears second power play goal of the game making this a 5-0 game. Get that monkey off his back, Cameron Clark scored his 15th goal of the season 6:35 of the season breaking a long streak of not being able to score. Tyson Kirkby scored his 2nd goal of the game making this a 7-0 Black Bears lead with 12:35 left to go in the 3rd period. Dakota Bohn scored his 13th goal of the season at the 8:08 mark of the 3rd period making this an official blow-out at 8-0. Tyson Kirkby made this a 9 goal game with his hat-trick goal, scoring with 5:26 left to go in the 3rd period. |
