| The Binghamton Black Bears (19-3-4) shut out the Danbury Hat Tricks (9-7-5) by the score of 5-0, Connor McAnanama's fifth professional shut out and his third this season. Scoring his first goal of the season and giving the Black Bears a 1-0 lead in the game, Camron Cervone registered the games first goal 11:18 into the 1st period. The Black Bears take a 2-0 lead after the Captain, Tyson Kirkby scores his team leading 19th goal of the season with 3:02 left to go in the period. After a Hat Tricks defensive breakdown, Gavin Yates sent a beautiful pass to Scott Ramaekers who scored the Black Bears 3rd goal of the game. Just like the in first period the Black Bears get a late period goal, this time from CJ Stubbs, making this a 4-0 lead for the road team in Danbury. With Jacob Ratcliffe in the box for hooking, the Black Bears get their 5th goal of the night, on the power play off the stick of Scott Ramaekers. McAnanama saved all 28 shots the Hat Tricks sent his way securing his 12th win of the season. |
